Liz Gilbert

Liz Gilbert is a Los Angeles-based screenwriter and was recently a semi-finalist in the 2017 Nicholl Fellowships, for her script “Lovely,” making the top 50 of 7,102 submissions.

Liz is a previous winner of the Monaco International Film Festival for Best Fantasy Screenplay and Best Action Adventure Screenplay. She was also honored at the Hollywood Film Festival for her short “Traces” which she stars in and produced. In 2017, Liz made her directing debut with her digital series, “Tall Tales.”

As a SAG-AFTRA actress, Liz has performed in a range of theater, film and television roles from the Broadway production of “A Man for All Seasons” starring Frank Langella to a recurring role on “The Young and the Restless.”

Liz has developed film and television projects with Imagine Television, Sony Pictures, and Team Todd among others. Currently, Liz has several film and television projects in the works, including a female-driven, action-adventure feature film. She also co-wrote a comedy with Julie Lake which is at Avalon Television as well as a Christmas feature at Mar Vista. She is a graduate of RADA and holds a B.A in Writing from Johns Hopkins University.
