Nadeem Siddiqui began his career in 2010 when he enrolled in the Vancouver Film School’s Entertainment Business Management program. Graduating at the top of his class, he quickly moved into an associate producer role on the APTN series Animism: The Gods’ Lake (Season 1). Itching to expand his breadth of knowledge and be more apart of the creative process, he began to teach himself screenwriting. In 2013, Nadeem enrolled in UCLA’s Professional Program in Screenwriting.
He has been honing his craft since then. His first screenplay DELHI JUNCTION was a quarterfinalist at the 2013 Page Awards and at the 2014 and 2016 Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. DELHI JUNCTION was followed-up by SLUT which was a semifinalist in the 2016 Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting, a finalist in the 2016 Script Pipeline competition and advanced to the second round of the 2016 Austin Film Festival screenwriting competition.
Other scripts currently in the works include a pilot for a comedy series (PLAN B.), a dramatic thriller (INDISCRETION), and a cross-cultural horror (UNTITLED). Nadeem currently resides in Ottawa, On.
