If you love surfing, but it still hasn’t occurred to you that the stuff you see online can broach art, think again. Let me bring your attention to exo7.ca and surf away from bland, run-of-the-mill sites with the usual ergonomic buttons on top and so-called positive corporate colors everywhere else. Exo7 takes design out of the classical mold and makes it a part of the conversation. That’s sounds like bs, you say? But when you look at exo7’s work, especially their websites, it makes you feel good about what can be done with Web 2.0 technology, not only because of its almost limitless possibilities, but mostly how it can look. And things that look nice make you feel good. So I guess you can say exo7 makes you feel good about technology. And if that makes you feel good, then you got to feel good about the future.

Alors qu’elle disparaît graduellement de la mémoire de sa mère, Sophie Hébert cherche à définir son rôle dans ce monde gigantesque. C’est avec Chanel Bergeron, propriétaire d’un humble salon de coiffure en banlieue, et son employé Julien qu’elle tentera de percer certains des grands mystères existentiels.

Avec Robert Lepage comme conseiller artistique, cette création explore l’hybridité des médiums artistiques et, tel un prisme, joue entre le concret et le chimérique. Produit par Danse Cité, les spectacles auront lieu à L’Usine C en novembre ; les dates sont à confirmer.

Just back from London where she was invited to take part in the Walk the Walk Marathon for Breast Cancer, yogini and fitness instructor Hemalayaa Behl was in Montreal for a special workshop, “Bollywood Nights,” which is inspired from colorful and expressive choreographies as seen in Bollywood cinema. Hema is a Canadian living in LA. And before taking off again yesterday she gave an interview to watchmojo.com, but last we checked it wasn’t up yet.

Nicolas Cousin de With All Due Respect a donné tout un show au Cercle à Québec vendredi dernier avec une formule bien épurée. Avec des visuels en moins, Nicolas et ses acolytes ont misé sur une section à cordes. Résultat : en masse de bass.
