John Poliquin is an award-winning director with an extensive resume including a theatrically-released feature film, television, commercials, fashion films, short films and award-winning music videos. In 2015, he was awarded the prestigious “One To Watch” award at the One Show Awards.

John is known for constantly pushing the envelope and creating distinct and unforgettable work across all platforms. His strong sense of visual storytelling for beauty and fashion brands as well as his unique combination of live action and motion graphics has won him work from a wide array of clients, including Dillards, GQ, D’decor, Wilhelmina Models, Norman Ambrose, Tribeca Film, Warner Music, Interscope Records and Universal Music.

In terms of long form fiction work, John helmed the very cultish and also very viral Grave Encounters 2 penned and produced by the Vicious Brothers. It is awesomely scary found-footage fare that measures up to the very best in the genre. As far as sequels go, this one is as good as they get.

John is attached to direct his second feature film, Zombadings, written by Donald Martin. Right alongside the Vicious Brothers, John exec-produced the film STILLBORN.

John is now adapting his short film Selfie into a feature film script for Netflix.
