Woolf + Lapin’s Martin Girard and Bruce La Bruce received SODEC funding to write Twincest.
The new project comes right after La Bruce’s Gerontophilia, which is inspired by the coming-of-age Harold and Maud love story. And much like Gerontophilia, Twincest is quite a departure from the director’s usual stylized exploitation outings, such as LA Zombie.
“Twincest tells the story of identical twins Dominic and Daniel who are separated from their adulterous, lesbian mother shortly after their birth in 1950.”
La Bruce reunites with Gerontophilia producer Nicolas Comeau of 1976 Productions.
The production is slated for a 2015 summer start.
