This is the work of a new addition to Woolf + Lapin, emerging director Michael Lawrence, whose subtle direction adeptly humanizes the Google brand.
It’s about a group of old-time rockers getting back together after a decades-long hiatus. But there’s a catch. The members of the band in question, Patriarch, live whole states apart.
Enter Google Fiber, where technology is limitless and makes it possible to jam together, wherever you are. The film is touching not only because of its real, authentic characters, but how it bears down on the “what-ifs” that we’ve all had to live down at some point in our lives. Plus, the association to Google is absolutely seamless and frictionless. Michael did this under the Paradoxal banner.
Rock on Patriarch!
