A Harvard-educated attorney with over two decades of legal experience, Monte transitioned into screenwriting following the development of his project, GOOD. The strength of the material prompted a definitive pivot from his 22-year law career to full-time narrative development—a move Woolf+Lapin is thrilled to represent.

His strategic approach to narrative is already making waves, notably with a high-profile collaboration currently in development with Shaun Redick and Yvette Yates Redick at Impossible Dream Entertainment. In addition to this partnership, Monte is currently developing a new series with Woolf+Lapin.

Beyond his work in film and television, Monte oversees his family’s production of artisanal olive oil. He resides with his wife and two sons, dividing his time between active development and the Hamptons.
